Fresh citrus by it's very nature is one of the safest, if not the safest, unprocessed or minimally processed (raw) fresh fruit available to the consumer today. Associated appreciates the concerns of it's domestic and export buyers regarding the safety of the citrus packed by this proud, fourth generation, family operated citrus facility. Associated has established a program entitled "Standard Operating Procedures and Policies at Associated Citrus Packers, Inc. For Ensuring Safe Handling of Fresh Citrus" and strictly adheres to those procedures and policies. In addition to this program, certain of our domestic and/or export buyers have asked for certain documents relating to the citrus packed at Associated. Please find those documents below.
As required by the Public Health Security and Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Act of 2002, Associated Citrus Packers, Inc. registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as a domestic ?food facility? on October 27, 2003 and was assigned Food Facility Registration No. 14091857474 by the FDA.
